Application

The dye industry uses organic intermediates to synthesize various dyes, while the leather industry employs them for depilation, tanning, and wastewater treatment. The fertilizer industry utilizes them to remove elemental sulfur from activated carbon desulfurization agents. They serve as raw materials for manufacturing ammonium sulfide and as intermediate products for the pesticide ethyl mercaptan. The mining industry extensively employs them in copper ore beneficiation. In artificial fiber production, they are used for sulfite dyeing and other processes.
